CVSEU Version 1.0 Released!!
Version 1.0 Of Capcom vs Snk Echoes has finally been finished and released!! So What does this mean? Well for starters the game is pretty much in its final state regarding content. The game is jammed full of single player content and ranked tools for you to rank up solo and try to get every character to god rank. The game now feels like an complete package and I just wanted to talk about what it took to get here or why the game is made the way it is! First things first thank you for anyone that tries out the ultimate edition. It means alot because this is the first time that i used my coding skills from scratch to bring tools to this engine never seen before! Which means yes Capcom vs snk echoes ultimate has content no other ikemen go game has. Every single inch of this game has been changed or added or modified by me or any scripts that I have made. So when you play capcom vs snk echoes you are getting a unique version of that character not found else where! I talked alot on twitter/x about wanting a deep game because I am tired of alot of newer fighting games cutting it. I think i reached a point with the ultimate edition where there is tons of expression setups and different things like that. I added so much from the training tools from the games story to so many events to random events the ranked things to the system being changed to co op modes to balance and bug fixes this truly does feel like the perfect game in this engine for me and i hope those who try it out feel the same way!
The reason this is the 1.0 release is because i feel like the game is now stable. Make sure you launch it with the launcher for the game as this is important if you are trying to play online! There still will be content updates or releases but they will come much more sparingly in the future as things slow down from this release. There still will be balance changes in the future depending on if there is anything that needs to be addressed. This is because i someday hope to make a little community or make videos on online matches and while all of the 200+ characters have different skills the top tiers should still be top tier but should feel like unbeatable gods! The way I want to balance this game is very different from how a lot of modern fighting games handle things however. I am okay with very strong tools that the opponent has to work around. As long as there is options against it, it is fine. I think too many games go to far and make what made the character special be lost in balance changes. This is to say if you find a mixup its staying in the game. Most balance changes are going to be to damage output of an character. Thank you for reading all of this. As you may or may not know this isnt my first game. I have a small platform fighter called roundfolk fighting. The random events generator has some easter eggs and a very small chance to generate roundfolk fighting events or different refences to some of my favorite games such as xenoblade or cyberpunk.
